A lot of girls have mentioned that the bridal store ordered the dress in the wrong size or color. Are you able to see what they right down before it's final? Can you check the contract?

I didn't get a contract but I did look closely at what the woman wrote... I guess I will find out on wednesday (my first fitting, woo hoo!) if it's the right one : )

I almost ordered one at Adrienne's, and they had a huge contract that covered everything, including should you get pregnant and say you were and they measured you wrong! My mom and I were laughing at it--it was so detailed.

I've watched everything. Everything they wrote down, I doubled checked it. I did it with my gown, BMs, MOB and tuxes. I made sure the style & size they wrote down was accurate.

One bridal advice book said to make sure that you should check the measurement charts that they are using and make sure you agree with what they order for you. If the place is not reputable - they might make a point of ordering something that is not accurate so that they can charge you later for more alterations than if you had ordered a better size.

You can always ask to see the contract. There is NO harm in asking to see or even get a copy. Usually the bridal associate goes over it with you. At least mine did

My place is reputable, but I should have looked at the chart. i did later out of curiosuty, & the order right on for me, not bigger, so I ama little worried, b/c I am a stress eater & have gained weight!
I didn't have a contracrt but the receipt had some legal mubo jumbo on the back.
