Did any of you experience contractions in your third trimester - around month 7/8? Were you put on meds to stop them? If so, did they help - how long did it take? Were you hospitalized? What was the outcome?

No, I didn't experience any contractions around the 7/8 month. Have you called your doctor? I would do so immediately!

it depends on what they feel like - a lot of women experience braxton hicks which is a form of 'practice' contractions. In either case, best to call your doctor!

Thanks for responding. It's not me...my sister did go to the Dr and was put on the meds after she begged the Dr not to admit her. I was just looking for some RL experiences that she could relate to that might ease her mind.
