Cookbook wedding favor
Since I am having a fall-themed wedding I was thinking of doing a favor that reminded me of fall. Baking-----for some reason it does!So I was thinking of getting a fall cookie cutter and putting together a cookbook or our families' favorite cookie recipes.
I was thinking of writing on the bottom something like inspired by Grandma Betty..............
I have been racking my brain for a while for a creative favor that people will use.
The problem is that I contacted a cookbook company that was very reasonable, but they want a minimum of 200

Is there a way I can do it myself with out looking cheesy or costing a fortune????????
Doesnayone know of another compnay that is resonably priced?
I checked out the website Oprah suggests and it is too $$$$$$$.
Thanks

I think it is a great idea! If you decide to go with the cookbook, you can call Kinkos and see if they can make the books for you. If you just do a cookie recipe and cookie cutters, you can get the organza bags & ribbon to tie the recipe to the bag off of ebay and you can get the card stock at either a crafts store or Staples.

Thanks for the input. Isn't kinkos really expensive? Like a $1.00 a color copy????
I was wondering if I could print them like a digital picture some how, I don' tknow...I wish I could get something done!
Thanks for all your help ladies!

Re: Cookbook wedding favor
If you print the pages out yourself you should be able to have them spiral bound at Staples or Kinkos fairly cheap. A local print shop might also be able to do it.

I've seen this a lot, I love the cookie idea. I was thinking of the same thing. I liked one that I saw that had 2 hearts cut out of 1. I would do a search on google too. You might just find more. I'm sure you can buy them in bulk. What about making your own recipes cards and placing it inside the bag as well?

Re: Cookbook wedding favor
Why don't you use one of those digital printing websites and make an album with pictures and recipes. Try shutterfly, snapfish or Kodak.
