Anyone know of any cooking classes in Suffolk County? I'd love to take a class or two for fun.

Re: Cooking Classes?
I cook every day, but I'd just like to learn better knife skills, etc. It just seems like it'd be fun!

sometimes williams sonoma teaches the technique classes. Sign up for their notification e-mail, they'll let you know when they hold the classes.

Re: Cooking Classes?
I don't know about Suffolk, but the Institute for Culinary Education (ICE) in the city has a great recreational division. They have plenty of classes like knife skills, techniques of asian cooking, etc. FH loves to cook so I got him three classes there for his birthday a couple years ago. He's gone to a few more and we even took a handmade pasta class together (they have lots of couple's classes). It's right on 23rd, so it's convenient to Penn Station and they have evening and weekend classes.

Re: Cooking Classes?
I teach cooking classes at Williams-Sonoma (SmithHaven). I only have 2 left at the store though-getting a new job/getting ready for wedding. I have gone to people's house and I think that's even more fun because I have more freedom to do my own thing. FM me for info.

During my Bachelorette party out in the Hamptons, we learned how to make dinner at Loaves and Fishes Cookshop . It was sooo much fun! And, they have a knife skills class you can take too
