Cooking Classes/Seminars???

My Fiance is turning 30 this month. We are not exchanging large gifts because we have the wedding to pay for, but I want to do something special since he threw me a surprise party last year.

He owns his own Pizzeria/Restaurant, so I thought it would be a cool idea to do something like a cooking class or seminar

Does anyone know anywhere good that does this???

I believe Williams Sonoma has classes.

There are some culinary schools also in Upstate NY who do it

My friend from work took classes in the city at the Institute for Culinary Education, formerly Peter Krump's. Some courses are kind of pricey. Here's the link.

FH and I had SO MUCH fun at our cooking class. Check this place out! Rustico

I did this as a gift for FH too, and I bought us adorable aprons beforehand! We went to the garlic lovers class... and it was delish!

Cooking classes should be a pre-requisite to getting married...

Classes at ICE are amazing. FH and I have taken a few there and we always have a great time!

Yes, I should send my FH

Just kidding, when he isn't working during the week, he does most of the cooking. When I step up and do cook something, if he's here, he ends up taking over!

The New School offers a ton of wonderful classes. They are a little pricey but a friend of mine who loves to cook really enjoys the classes They are offered in NYC, in the 20's not far from Penn Station. They have every type of class imagined and you can eat the food you make. I think it's a great idea...I'm planning on taking a day class with my FH for his birthday in November.

My 'un-bachelorette' was at the viking cooking school in garden city and was a lot of fun. you can go to viking.com and click on the cooking school schedule, or if you have between 6-12 people you can have a private class which is what we did.
i would def. do it again!
