Cooking Question

For coconut shrimp .. is it okay to soak the shrimp in Malibu .. coat with breading & coconut mixture .. then fry???

Will the alcohol in the Malibu make it do something funky when frying??

I'm not gonna cause a fire to break out, am I???

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question .. but I thought using Malibu would be interesting .. but I'm worried what might happened during frying because of the alcohol.
