Anyone have any suggestions for a cool restaurant that my friends and I could go to on a Friday night where we could hang out, drink, and not feel rushed out. I'm looking for something eastern Nassau or Suffolk, possibly on the water (doesn't have to be), not too expensive, and maybe gives you the option to eat outside. Any suggestions?

I been at the nautical mile once and it's so much fun to go with friends and go from bar to bar or different restaurant without moving your car. Actually in that visit was that I notice the nautical cruise line (they board there) and I'm planning to booked for my wedding :P
maybe I'll see about that. I have heard good things about it too. I just feel bad because 2 of the people going are from Suffolk so it's a little far for them.

FH love to go to Tide Runners! Its right on the shinnecock canal in Hampton Bays. Its a cool restaurant on the water and later in the night the bar gets really busy...and fun! Its both indoors and outdoors.

Yes, that's the Nautical Mile.
hmm...hampton bays is easy for them but a pain in the butt for me. I live on the border of Queens.
Note to self - I need to move back to suffolk!
