I just booked my wedding at the coral House for March and although it looked very nice to me, my sister told me that she has heard from several people that it has a bad reputation. Has anyone been to a wedding there who can shed some light?

I got married there and honestly after rewatching my wedding video we got lots of compliments regarding our wedding.....especially about the food.
You will be fine. Take the negativity with a grain of salt..I learned that you cant please everyone. For example we went to an exclusive Country Club wedding with some of the guest from ours..and althought the place was pretty there were alot of complaints sooo moral of the story is that you chose it for a reason..so make the best of your wedding day for you and hubby not other people!

i got married there 12 days ago and it was absolutely beautiful. At first i wanted no part of it, but went to look at it after so many people suggested it. We fell in love right then and there and booked it right away. They did a beautiful job for our wedding and our guests have done nothing but complement the food, the room, the lake, the cocktail hour on the rooftop, etc. Best of luck, but i would def recommend this one to anyone!!

I got married there this past November, and I was reluctant at first because of the negative reviews. Honestly, it was the best decision I made to get married there. I have never seen so much food at a wedding in all of my life. I still get told how wonderful everything was and this is 8 months after the fact. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are gorgeous and the food incredible, so how anyone can knock that I do not know. I've heard a lot of good things about the Coral House. I think everything wedding wise is a matter of taste.
