Coral House tasting?

I am visiting Coral House today and doing a tasting. Has anyone done a tasting there? If so, can you give some details?

good luck today. when we were there they give you a tasting of some of their basics -- a bit of the passed hour dourves (sp??) like cocktail shrim shooters, ceviche, turkey wraps, strawberries w brie, and soemthing else.

for the other stuff, you do get full portions, so go hungry if you want!

they brought us soem meat, some chicken (dont ask me what- i dont eat meat/poultry, so i didnt pay much attention, but FH liked it) and some salmon, which was good.

they will also offer you a drink from the bar to go with it.

we didnt get any dessert, but the food was good.

our biggest issue with the place was the downstairs cocktail hour room but since you have a smaller party, your rooms will probably both b on the first floor.

That was in one of my choices but it looked a little outdated..

If you are having a evening wedding than it won't matter.. Good Luck...Frank is awsome..

Actually, FH and I are into food, so the place we pick has to have good food. Unfortunately, I think I liked 1-2 appetizers and that was it. I didn't like the pasta or the 3 entrees they served.

FH liked the salmon with mango glaze and the pasta bolognese. I have noticed that FH loves things with sweet sauces. I really didn't care for them at all. To top things off we both got stomach aches after we ate.

ITA regarding the outdated look. At first FH was like the price is good I like the view, I like the room. But after the tasting, we went back to the rooms to take a closer look at it while the sun was out. Definitely a bit outdated, but if you do an evening, shouldn't be a problem.

after DH and i had a tasting at coral house he had a terrible stomach ache as well. :( i hardly ate anything so i was ok, but DH was feeling pretty awful! :(
