Cormican/Dora/ 9/21 Brides!

How are you all holding up??? I'm so excited, I completely can't concentrate at work. I think I have everything under control but still worried about everything going smoothly.... especially the weather! I know, don't worry about things out of your control, but I can't help it! I just can't wait to be on the plane to Tahiti!!! SO what are you girls up to?? How is everything progressing???

Hiya - 9/21 bride here

I don't know whyt, but I feel like time has stopped. Every minute until the wedding seems like an hour. We have pretty much everything under control - this week we just have to pick up the dress, the tux, confirm the RD, pickup the programs from the printer and bring them to the caterer. Plus confirm everything with all the vendors.

How are you doing??? Everyone all set???

I'm this Friday. I'm getting so excited! I have been waking up at 4am every morning! My stomach has been really upset (pains, no appetite) but I guess that's just nerves. Just some last minute stuff left to do.

I am FREAKING OUT!!!! Thank goodness I took this week off -- there's so much to do...ACK!!! I dropped off the final payment to the hall & photographer & when I left my stomach was flipping! I felt like I was gonna puke!! I can't believe it's finally here!!!!

And of course, like a very bad bride, I checked the weather --> ugh! News 12 says Friday & Sunday thunderstorms -- but Saturday will be nice --> and the weather channel says Friday is nice and Saturday is thunderstorms...

Ah well -- the best news though is that my Dad who's in the hospital (he has terminal prostate cancer) will get a day pass for the wedding. He's so happy to do it -- it's really great (we had a bad relationship for many years - so his being a part of the wedding is great).

Anyway --> does anybody remember that thing about the 'putting the religious statue in the window so it doesn't rain on the bride' thing? To be honest though -- it's not such a big deal --> a few raindrops is a small price to pay for having my Dad there -- but more importantly --> to get my stoic old-school Italian Dad to tell me how much he wants to be at my wedding ...
