Corporate Workplace!!

Ok just a vent, not sure how many of you ladies work in a very corporate environment, well I do and my boss pissed me off tonight!!!
He had the nerve to tell me at 2mins to 6pm that my brown VERY EXPENSIVE loafers looked SCHLEPY with my navy blue pants suit and not our corporations dress code!!

What a D&^K!!!

Ignore him some people are just full of it.

Such a losah, I swear he gets PMS!!
TO top it off he said brown and blue don't match, please like you are mister suave!! whateve!!!
I walked out and said ok point taken...ahhh so wishing I could take off tommorrow!!!

i hear you. i work in the corp world and once i figured out what i could wear, i stuck with it.

and pleeze, men don't know as much about fashion as they think they do.

So dreading work tommorrow!!!
I swear I want to show up in a sweatsuit just to shove it in his face!!

i worked for an attorney like that.

men like that are abusive - you may think i am being extreme - but seriously it wasnt until i left that job and worked in an environment where my boss didnt get off on putting me down - that i realized that it was completly compatible to an abusive relationship.

i have no advice other than to grin & bear it for as long as you can - but get out of there as soon as you can.

sorry to sound so drastic - but i had everythign from my clothes, shoes, voice, nails, etc critiqued ontop of ANY work i did. mind you i worked there for 1 1/2 yrs and never got fired or disciplined - so it was not me or my work and it was him & his power trip.

People have some nerve... Who does he think he is? Some people are so insecure with themselves that they feel the need to put other down.. I feel sorry for people like that.
Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day!

I work in a corporate environment also, people here are so nice and professional.

I would be upset too if my boss said that to me

Ya know, if you want to take it left...you could bring it up with HR as harassment. I would at least put it in writing for yourself. Document everything...it's a beautiful thing.
