Cory Lidle died...

THey just confirmed that he was in the plane-its awful-my heart definitely goes out to his family his friends and the team

They were saying he was alone in the plane. This is so sad. And Melanie..it is a big deal for anyone that wants to make it a big deal. He is a human being who lost his life in a horrible way. Anyone who has any heart at all would feel bad hearing this. I feel bad for anyone who passes away...especially when it is a tragic accident like this
Please don't say that.

I just found out about 15 minutes ago that he was the pilot. How sad is this. I can't believe this.

RIP Cory Lidle.....

It's horrible . My prayers go to his family. Those single engine planes aren't so great. My brother trained in those to become a pilot, and was soooo glad when he didn't have to fly them anymore.

News said that they didnt want to confirm (they meaning Mayor Bloomberg) because they arent sure his family especially his wife knows yet. Thats what makes me even sadder. To think she is on a plane thinking yeah this year may have sucked for him but we are going home to be toghether! Her not knowing is heartbreaking. Just imaging if she is/was at the airport, security pulling her to the side, shes wondering whats going on...

Knowing or not knowing this man, his family or his career doesnt make the situation any different. A woman lost her husband, her partner and love and a six year old boy wont have his father to be with ever again. No matter how your mood is today their mood can in no way compare to anyone's, becuase right now his career isnt what counts. He's gone and his family is in mourning.

I heard he was in the plane with his flying instructor. He had just bought that plane and was so excited about it.
