I am a bm in my FSIL wedding. Her MOH called me last night to discuss the plans for her shower.
Just out of curiousity, before I post how much the MOH thought we should pay per person, what do you guys think is reasonable?
The price she gave, just includes the location and a gift. Decorations, invitations and everything else is all extra!

my mom is spending around 1500!! there's like 60 ppl coming. depending on how many girls in the bp there are I would prob chip in around 200-300 each IF, and a big IF, you had the means. None of my bms are chipping in for my shower as far as i know b/c they are all broke and a few are trying to come from OOT for it! LOL.

Been there girl! I was pissed too! Things shuld be discussed before hand to see how much each person can afford and go from there! I agree

The 1 wedding I was in I did not have to pay anything
This is another reason I do not want a shower..wedding are too much $$ to begin with I do not want my mom or others to have to pay for a shower on top of it
ETA: I did not answer the original ?? I would say $100-150 would be an okay price
I actually love the showers I've gone to at someones house..everyone cooked stuff and it was more of a party
