Do you think that $1000 for a DJ (no MC) is reasonable? I just started pricing/comparing..is my budget too low for this? TIA

Re: Cost of DJ
You can definitely get a lower quote for just a DJ. I have gotten quotes from reputable DJs in both Nassau and Suffolk county for less than that. I'm assuming that you didn't want any free give aways or light shows. FM me if you have any questions!! Good luck!

Re: Cost of DJ
I actually think it's average...
I think my DJ for my sweet sixteen over 10 years ago was $750!

It's average for a wedding. If you shop around, you might get some better deals though.

Re: Cost of DJ
I agree, I have seen some quotes a tiny bit lower, but that is pretty average. See if you can talk them down.

I've seen some more and some less. $1K is about average. if he's playing for CH & ceremony in addition to the reception, that is a good deal.

Re: Cost of DJ
I am paying 950. I am not getting an MC because I don't need it. Check out Vinny from High Voltage.
