I have no clue! Just wanted to get an idea of what is the avg spent? At this point, I am thinking of something that would be $8 and we would do per couple. Not sure if that is a lot, normal, or low?

Re: cost of favors??
I think $8 is a generous amount. We spent around $3.50 per couple and they doubled as our placecard. Most brides I know have spent between $3-$10 per couple on favors.

Re: cost of favors??
What are you girls giving for favors?
The cost of the favor I chose is about $1 per person. We simply don't have the money to spend a lot. If I see something else that's cute and responsibly priced, I might add something additional.

Ours were like $4.50 per couple. I think $8 is pretty high. Just remember if you have 100 people that is $800 on favors.

I totally agree and to be honest, if not edible, many people throw it away / lose it like the invites.
the only people i see saving it as keepsake is my mother, my aunt, his mother and grandmas... other than that, its a total loss
i was thinking CD Favors since we both lovee music.. my daddy will make them :)

Re: cost of favors??
We gave out personalized foldable reusable grocery bags. We had a minimum order of 200, so there were lots of extras (we had about 110 at our wedding) and we used them for OOT bags too so some people got several of them. In total, it was a little over $500 on favors (I think $520).
I loved our favors and am still so proud of them. As I've mentioned before, I gave one to Rob Thomas when I met him last month. I'm so so so happy about that still lol!
(Yes, I'm attaching the picture... again lol)

Re: cost of favors??
we spent 1.89 on measuring spoons (one per couple) and we paired it with a family cookbook i designed, printed and bound at work, so we didn't spend any money on those.
