Could anyone tell me what the average cost of invitations are for everything together?
I am trying to work this into my budget and honestly I have no idea what 1 whole invitation cost.
Thank you!

Re: Cost Of Invitations?????
I can only tell you what I paid... I had a very basic invitation... no pocketfolds or anything like that and it came to just under $450 for everything. Invite, reception card, response card & envelope, return address printed on back flap, and a white ribbon to attach to each invite.

If you dont mind me asking...how many invitations was that for? I am trying to get an idea too.

150 invitations, not pocketfold with response card and double sided hotel/direction cards came to $1200. I guess we over-payed!!! Oh well, my mom was happy with that price...
ETA: That included the addressing and all!

Re: Cost Of Invitations?????
I am paying between 200-300 but a friend of mine is doing the design and I'm doing all the printing myself and I'll only have between 75-100 invites.

You can get invites for like $2 each on David's Bridal website. They have a lot of nice inexpensive invitations.

Re: Cost Of Invitations?????
if you think you could print them yourself, ACMoore and Michael's have nice designs in kits that give you everything you need. prices range from $30 for 25 to $40 for 50 and maybe just a little higher.

Re: Cost Of Invitations?????
It really just depends on what you want and whether you are going to use a vendor or DIY. If you buy them yourself at Michaels or AC Moore, and print them yourself, they will probably be cheaper a lot cheaper than using a vendor or getting letterpress. If you do a search, you should find a couple threads with girls talking about the cost of their invitations. With that said, it can be anywhere from $100 to $1000..
I am going to use Paper Presentations in the city and DIY. Altogether with the pocketfold and inserts for 150, it should be about $300-$350 plus my blood sweat and tears, lol

Re: Cost Of Invitations?????
Mine will be 450 not including shipping (which I hear is another 30-40 dollars) for 100 custom made pocketfolds with 4 inserts. But this price includes all guest addressing, return addressing, and RSVP envelope addressing. For what I'm getting, it's a very fair price.

Re: Cost Of Invitations?????
Ours were $400 exactly for invites, response cards, and another card with hotel & website info -- for 125 of everything. The store I worked with didn't charge us tax since I gave them cash for it.
I did the addressing myself by printing on the envelopes in a calligraphy font with my laser printer (inner and outer) and I was very pleased with how it came out.

Re: Cost Of Invitations?????
125 pocketfolds with addressing is coming to about $1200... alot for invites but its one of my favorite parts. I needed something that would stand out.
