so, FH wants titanium, i found a band online for no joke, 10 bucks, lol, and it doesnt look like crap either. we went to tri county today and i found a ring i love, 950. i feel terrible if my ring is going to be that much more than his.

My band was I want to say just under $5000, his ring was about $140...seriously it was the one he wanted though (titanium) and now it's too big and he needs a new one and it's like no big deal

I have no intent of spending a lot on the wedding bands... not that I didn't care about the Engagement ring, but I always told FH that he didn't need to buy one and that we could've just been engaged.

i get my jewelry verrrrry cheap bc we the jeweler we use is a very good family friend. and even still FHs was 1500. mine was 2000. pics in album.
this wedding stuff is adding up!!!!!!!

i didn't want to spend a lot on the wedding bands, i found a pretty one its white gold w/ princess cut diamonds in a channel setting and it was $420. FH got a two tone white gold band with gold on the edges and his was $270.

My band was $2000 and fhs was $1000...we both got what we wanted and I dont feel bad that mine was more then his...what is the difference what you spend as long as you both like what you got?

fh's was like 300 maybe and mine was like 900...so worries unless his has diamonds or is made of a more expensive material yours will prob always be more

we havent gotten ours yet, but the one i am having made will probably be close to 2k and FH will probably spend 500 or so. (thats based on ones hes looked at already)

Did you guys use the same jeweler that you got your engagement ring from? You should usually get a break in price then. My wedding band alone was 2K+ and I don't know how much FH's ring is, but since FH purchased my engagement ring from him, he is giving us both rings for less then the cost of my ring alone.

We actually just went to price ours this weekend.....we went to the same jewlerer that FH got my engagement ring from, so he did give us a bit of a discount...I think if you guys go back where he got the engagement ring from, they will work with you on the prices.
FH is in construction so he wants to get one cheap one for everyday, this way incase it gets dirty or dented, he really won't care too much. He picked out one for dressy/evening affairs that he will wear when we go out and when he isn't at work for about $850. I on the other hand picked out 2 stackable eternity bands with pave diamonds, that match my engagement ring, that are about $1600 each. FH told me no Christmas gifts this year! lol.
I don't think the price of the band usually matters....many guys don't want anything too flashy or expensive, unlike us girls!! =) As long as he likes what he is picking and you do too, that is all that matters!

YES!! FH looked at titanium for every day and it was crazy cheap - I think $50?? I did feel bad initially but then he decided to pick another for nicer occasions that he could wear....I think that is the situation in most cases since girls usually get diamonds in their bands and guys usually don't, or not as many. Don't feel bad!!
