We are starting to look at places and wanted to get a general idea of what it will cost per head for a wedding on LI. What are people spending??

We paid 99 per head . . . once you added tax and gratuity it was 130 a head.

We're getting married on a Saturday night in January (in New Rochelle), it was $135 before tax and gratuities, I think it comes to about $170 total. We also had added some things to the cocktail hour, plus a half hour to the reception.

we are paying $115 a head for a Saturday night in July...having the wedding in the summer and on a Saturday was really important to us!

We are doing a Sunday Night, which will feel like a Saturday night since most of my guests are off that monday.. we are paying 62 a head But the cost went up because we changed our date...

I'm getting married the Saturday of a 3 day weekend and SO wish that I could have done the Sunday of that weekend because it would have been so much less expensive! Unfortunately, most of FH's friends work in the medical field and don't get holidays like that off.

I had my reception at the Stewart Manor Country Club in Stewart Manor. We paid 75 per person9not including tax and gratuity of course). Prices always change. those were 2007 prices. its best to look at a bunch of venues before deciding. Good Luck

We paid $113 per person without tax and gratuity at Leonard's of Great Neck for a 07-07-07 wedding.

I searched long and hard for the perfect place..that we both loved that was REASONABLE . I ended up finding the Thatched cottage, of which the owner is the chef!!! The food was amazing, the place is completely renovated, we had gardens, flowers and water in a prestigious area, and I paid under 80 a head!!!! Including taxes....We had our wedding in September, on a beautiful day, on labor day and everyone came!!!! So dont think you have to spend a million to have a beautiful wedding!!! Trust me!!! My review says it all!!! GOod luck!

we are paying 116 (with tax and svc. charge its 152) per person for a saturday night on nov @ fox hollow. it would have been 101 p.p. but we have a seaboat (at a discounted price of 15 pp)
