Like other girls mentioned it really does depend on the day of the week, time of day, season and guarantee.

Start thinking about what you want (beach, gardens, food) and start making calls.

I agree that it depends on what you are looking for. I am getting married on a Saturday afternoon in March and paying $60.95 per person. I think it is very reasonable and I am on a budget so I needed to stick to that. I am getting married at the Thatched Cottage and am very happy with my choice! Good luck in your search : )

Wow!!! It does depend on the time of year! I'm your hall twin, and am paying about $25 more pp for July for Sunday evening.

Re: Cost Per Head

Originally $100.00 pp, but I wanted an extra hour so it went up to $105.00 pp. With tax and service charges, I'm assuming it'll total to $125.00 pp

$47 for a Sunday afternoon in April

I want to get married where you are getting married! :)

We decided to do a Sunday brunch instead of a whole sit down meal. It saves heaps!!!

Amazing how much the day and time of year! We're looking at a beach wedding in September on a Saturday night.

I wish we could do a Friday wedding- you can really save so much. Almost 50% of our guests will be flying in or traveling from out of town.

All this info has been helpful just to get an idea of what is really is going to cost!

When I was looking at halls I saw everything from $60 up to $200 per person depending on the place & date. It varies so much!

Re: Cost Per Head

in all honesty it depends what hall, what time of year, what day of the week, and what you want....for instance i had a friday night wedding in december with a full open bar & viennese hour. The best thing to do is to pick up 'Locations Sites & Services' magazine...it's got every reception venue on long island with what they offer, pictures, and an approximate price range. It really helped narrow down my search....good luck!

65 a head for August: includes cordials ,viennise (i can't spell) plates, wedding cake, candellabras, and linens. However, we wanted a day wedding. I think they told us it goes up to 75 for evening. But remember everything is negotiable!!!
