yes, I went there years ago with....gasp, an ex-bf. I flew into San Juan and stayed there for a night. Then went to Arenal and stayed at Tabacon Lodge(volcano and hotsprings). Then we stayed at Si Como No in Quepos in a bungalow in the jungle. It's right by Manuel Antonio National Park and we saw tons of monkeys, sloths, etc. The beaches are beautiful!

I went to Costa Rica in 2007 and it was AMAZING! We stayed in Arenal at the Lost Iguana for about 4 days and that place was so wonderful but not a resort kind of place. We had a HUGE room with an outdoor jacuzzi and bathroom with a screen roof and shower made out of rocks it felt like you were showering in the rainforest! then we traveled about 3-4 hours to the papagayo gulf and stayed at an all incvlusive resort for the next 3-4 days. The volcano is amazing the La fortuna waterfall is wonderful...sigh I want to go back!

I stayed at Lost Iguana also! We travel a lot and this hotel remains our favorite hotel to date!!! Then we went to the Marriot Los Suenos near Jaco/Manuel Antonio which had a much different feel but awesom pool!

Wasn't the Lost Iguana fab??? UGH what I wouldn't do to relocate there! lol
