I have friends who've been and said they loved it, and friends who had a less than stellar experience. It all depends on when you go too--research when rainy season is because when it's rainy season in POURS all day, every day. I've also heard its tough finding a hotel with air conditioning. If you're outdoorsy and love nature then more power to ya, but I cannot live with out my central air lol. I've also heard its one of the most beautiful places. Just do your research and look on tripadvisor =) Good luck!

My friend just got married in April and went to Costa Rica for her honeymoon.....said it was amazing!! They ha days of fun activities and days to just relax and enjoy each other which was exactly what they wanted.

We wanted to go there over last Christmas/New Year for our honeymoon...I'm a teacher too...book it fast because when we booked (September) it was too late...there was only one package that we wanted with the hotels we wanted and we hesitated and it was taken...we ended up at Sandals in St. Lucia, and although I was dead set on something exotic and NOT SANDALS (my first choice was Australia/Fiji) it was beautiful there...but would I ever pay what we paid for a Sandals trip again???? Absolutely not!!!!!! Moral of the story, book ASAP!!!! Cause they availability is slim and the prices skyrocket the closer you get to the holidays!
