Costco Roses...

Anybody place an order for roses with them?

I'm debating whether I should order them for my girlfriend's bridal shower. I already have over 20 ivy vases and figured I would put 5-6 blooms in each for centerpieces.

Hi Jenn - so the shower is coming together - good for you!
I ordered light pink roses from Costco for my FSIL's baby shower. I put 3 roses in each of 50 tiny crate and barrel bud vases - and they came out great. They were the table decorations/favors. You do have to clean the roses though - which was a lot of work for me to do the night before the shower. They were VERY thorny and had a lot of slimy leaves that needed to be removed - but they were fresh and opened nicely over night. The guests said that they lasted all week also. If you can enlist some help, I think its a great way to go.

I used them as centerpieces for my in-laws anniversary party.

Didn't order them though, cause I only needed 2 bunches (4 dozen). I just picked them up at the store.

They're a great deal. My dad gets them often for my mom - the last bunch lasted two weeks.

I bought 4 dozen Black Magic Roses (deep velvety red) for our engagement party and they were really beautiful and inexpensive. In total, I spent $25.00 (12.99 for two dozen roses). I actually took most of the roses apart to sprinkel around pillar candles.
I also bought three bunches of tulips there for $4.99 a bunch (they lasted for a week which is very long for tulips).
I actually just went in and bought them without pre-ordering and they had a great assortment. I highly reccomend using Costco as a source.
