i really hate my job!! like really hate it ! i wake up everyday dreading to go! my boss really plays favorites and its pissing me off ! she is mad that im taking so much time off for my honey moon!! i haven taken a vacation since i have been there a over a year! on top of that i told her before she hired me!! my other co worker we share an office and my boss treats her like gold!! she even brings her an apple everyday and peels off the skin!! my co worker is 23 and whenever my boss talks to her she talks in this little kid voice!! she get like a million calls on her cell and she gets up and goes outside to use her phone! FH called my office today which never happens, and my boss send out an office email!! stating that she sees to many personal calls coming into the office on their lines and we should have our calls during lunch or after work hours!! i know it was meant towards me im sick of being treated like crap when im the one who stays late and takes work home! she has been nasty to me ever since my co worker told her i took the police exam! i think she knows i will leave and that what i do now is not my career so she feels im wasting her time!
sorry so long had to let this out ! or i was seriously going to walk out!!

Nothing worse then dreading going somewhere you spend most of your time. Believe me I hear ya. I feel similarly with mine. FH and I are planning on moving to LI by the Spring of 2010 so that is what is getting me through it. After the wedding I'm in full search mode for something else. I have a great position but the title I currently have is the furthest I can go here.
Hang in there. It stinks that your co-worker spilled the beans about the police exam. When will you find out about that?

I feel your pain!! I HATE my job with a passion and cant stand the woman that I work for. It is also not my 'career' as I am going back to school(hopefully) in September for my MSW. So it's reallllllly hard for me to come in and work here being that I hate the actual job, dont like who I work for and planning a different career. You are definitely NOT alone!! Good luck with your new career!
