something I can use to hold my place cards. Here is what I am thinking about doing.... I am thinking about a candle all wrapped up pretty toole and coming out the middle some type of clip that I can have the seating cards in. This way I kill 2 birds with one stone and the pretty wrapped candels can help decorate the table.... idk just and idea but I can't find a clip that I can try
This idea is from my DOC - she did candle escort 'cards' and wrapped the candle holders with a piece of vellum that had the name/table number printed on it. it makes a statement!
I think candles are a great idea! I've also see corks that look really cute, or any clips designed for holding photos should work. I'm going to use these since I make them and they match my theme.

I was going to suggest the votives wrapped in Vellum. It's so pretty. Such a soft glow.

that is actually what i have,.... the vellum wrap. Now I see them used AS the seat chart.... so do they carry a lit candle to the table? do they take that home?? and if so how do you incorporate the date, etc? and is it weird to have a favor with the table # on it? that's why I was thinking of wrapping them and somehow sticking the card ontop... so then the candles aren't lit. Would lit candles be lost on a day wedding?? I love the way the lit candles look!!!!!!!

i think it looks beautiful but I went to a wedding where these were the escorts cards we all damn near caught on fire! I recommend against it only b/c it makes it very diffidult ot reach towards the back and not get burned!

bear in mind lots of RH's wont let you light the candles anyway.

very good points... what I really want is unlit candles wrapped up pretty with some type of clip/holder sticking out to put the escort cards in. I'm having a hard time finding what I can stick or glue in there to hold the cards
