Could you negotiate prices on new developments?
Out of curiousity, there is a new development being built that I know of. Can you negotiate off of the builders asking price? Or is that locked in?

The builder's price is usually pretty rigid, but you'll never know for sure unless you ask.
Its definitely worth a shot if you love the property!

In our experience no. The builder's price was a firm take it or leave it option.

You can usually negotiate the options though... which is all builder profit.
