Could you recommend paint?

We are first time home buyers and we were looking at Behr paint. Then DH's father said he's heard that Behr goes on like water, from many customers. But we've heard good from others that have used it.

Could you please recommend a particular interior paint? Would you tell us paint you'd never recommend?
