Couldnt wait think i did it wrong

So we only started TTC about 2 weeks ago, and im so antsy i want to know and i took PG test already and it said Negative.. Does that mean i am not , or is it just to early to tell???

Congrats, Suzanne! You can test as early as 3 days b/f your period is due, but the earlier you test, the more likely you are to get a negative. It takes time for your hormone levels to be high enough to be read.

The waiting is the hardest part, believe me!! I know exactly how you feel. Good luck!

there are tests out there that can tell as early as 4 days before your period is due!!!

I have NO IDEA when my period is due, im so bad with it, i never remember, i guess now i should start writing it on the calendar..

So i dont know if im late early or what..

MY Doc told me when TTC we should not have sex every night, but every other night. and on day 10-18. Does anyone else follow the same advise,

Does anyone else buy ovulation testers?

Jen, come and answer Suzanne's questions. Not everyone is on that schedule Sue, you have to know your body to know when your period of ovulation is.

Suzanne .... my period was all over the place, if I ever kept track! I caved & bought the Ovulation Monitor to save myself the trouble of miscalculating & was pg in the first month.

I got a few false negatives early on. My OB said there was not enought hCG in my urine to register a positive. Also if you drink alot of water, which I do, it dilutes your urine and that can also give you a false negative. When I did one a little later on, it registered a positive right away.

Definately keep a calander on when you have your period. It will make things alot easier.

Wait 2-3 weeks if still no period. then take a test again w/ your 1st morning urine. (it shows up better that way)
