Countdown - 18 days - CONFIRM EVERYTHING!!!

Just a word of caution to all brides as you approach your date. CONFIRM EVERYTHING! And get definate answers - don't settle for 'I'm sure it's taken care of' I called our reception site last night to make sure the DJ and Photographer had sent the required insurance certificates. The receptionist said 'oh, I'm sure you would have gotten a call from us if they didn't have them.' She put me through to a voice mail to confirm anyway, and guess what - they don't have either! The DJ told me last week that it had been sent before Christmas - haven't talked to the photographer yet. So - just a word of warning - confirm all the details. I plan to have copies of all contracts, records, agreements, etc. in a folder with me that day just in case....

Lia - 19 days!

Lia, I hope you're not stressing like I have started to!!! For some reason it hit like a ton of bricks this week. It doesn't help that I'm away for a few days next week on a business trip, and we actually leave the Wednesday before the wedding to travel from Boston to NY so I have 2 weeks less a few days to get it all done. It's mostly little details, like trying out my makeup and hair styling (doing my own), completing the seating chart, etc. Hang in there - where are you going for your honeymoon? We're off to Myrtle Beach, SC.

Lia - 19 days!

Hi Karen, I`m not too stressed out ... nervous is more like it! I went to the church to pick out my music for the ceremony and there was a wedding going on and as I sat there, I got so scared that I wanted to turn and run. And boy is that aisle long! Try not to stress too much ... I`m sure you`ll get everything done! And if you start to get stressed, just think of your honeymoon in Myrtle Beach! For our honeymoon, we`re off to Hawaii!
