Couple Massage; Spa Review
I just thought to place this on the board since many girls were inquiring on couple massages. We went to The Village Spa in Roslyn Village yesterday. I have been to Roslyn many times so I know how quaint the village is. Village Spa is practically next door to the clock tower in the middle of the village. The spa is so quiet and homey feeling like. It is a small place. I think they only have 2 suites not sure though. I told FH most spas are like a spa factory. You see people constantly and there are more rooms…
We loved it! We did have to wait a bit because they opened the spa just for us. They had to set up the room upstairs. When we finally got up there, it was so romantic. The two beds were set-up side-by-side. Candles were lit, the music was going… In the room is a separate shower for 2 that has jacuzzi vents and steam vents. The bathroom even had built in speakers so we could hear the music.. They had set-up the table on the side for our tea service after the massages. I had added an additional hour to our service because we wanted some alone time to relax. The price included one-hour massage with the use of stones. I never had a massage with stones before so I am not sure if a 'stone' massage anywhere else is different. The stones were a plus to the massage. Neck wrap, foot soak is included and the tea service with pastries I added in. After we were given the foot soak we were left alone in the room for the additional hour. In the room itself was a tv, cd/dvd player, vcr, fridge that had water, soda, snapples free of charge, internet access, and use of the bathroom.
We had a wonderful experience. They even added an additional 15 minutes since we were waiting for them to set up. Basically we were there for 2.5 hours from the time we got there and left. All of this was $230 including tip! We definitely plan on going back the week of the wedding. If money allows we may go sooner. This is the only place that I found would do a couple massage simultaneously and that is what we were looking for.
Here is the website for further information.
