According to 'tradition', is it a requirement for mother of the bride and mother of the groom to get a coursage? Is this a real necessity? Perhaps i am totally out of it, but I really never heard of it. But my MOH said it is 'not very nice' to not give them a coursage.

I do't think I've ever heard of the mom's not having a coursge.or atleast something like that to make them feel special.

Re: Coursages for moms?
I would definitely have a corsage for my mom & FMIL unless they specifically said not to get them one

Re: Coursages for moms?
we're doing a 'french clutch' which is mini-bouquet of callas. That way they have something, but are not stuck with it all night. AND it's easier to preserve. (can you preserve callas?)

Definitely get some kind of flowers for the moms. Even a small corsage.

Yep we gave them to our moms just as the dads got bouts, the grandparents also. We did this b/c just as the bp is an important part so are your parents. I think it is very necessary-whether its a corsage or a bok

Im not giving out crosages either. Im having them hold small nosegays instead. What about giving them a long stem rose or something like that to hold for the ceremony instead? Its your wedding and if no one is going to mind there not being crosages, then don't have them!
