Okay so my wedding date is 11/30/07. I was showing some of the ladies I work with some CP ideas (the fall color flowers...there is a pic in my album). Well.....I say about 80% of these people dont think I should have 'fall' flowers since the wedding is on the 30.....closer to December. Now....normally I wouldnt care (okay maybe I do) about what they say.....I just want it to be pretty. So I guess what Im asking are these 2 things. What kind of flowers I guess count as 'winter' flowers (that would go with most likely a Chocolate BM dress). Second.....is the picture of the potential CP in my album (flowers around the Hurrican) pretty? I know most of the girsl on here say they like it and you all know what your talking about.

well if you wanna be technical fall is until december 22nd (or around there) so you are well within ur means to have fall flowers. it will be a short time after thanksgiving and the end of the fall season. i think fall flowers/colors would be perfect.

I agree! It's only like 6 days after thanksgiving or something like that right? I LOVE the centerpiece in your album (lol already told you that). Don't listen to anyone. Do what you want to do. I would stick with the fall colors cp's especially with brown bm dresses. It's going to look really pretty!

I agree - I see no reason why you still can't have a fall theme. I love the hurricane candle centerpiece. The flowers are really beautiful!

i say do what you want... i have debated on this thought for a while.. are the colors right for the season - i say who cares...if you like it thats what matters. i think i am using brown turq and mango.. and people have said thats fall colors i am getting married in may.. but spring colors arent my thing.. so go with what you like!!!!!

I like those first cps - they are very different. If your going with fall colors for the dresses I would definitey do the fall colors for the flowers. Make sure you do what makes YOU happy!

I have a million and one people who think my wedding isnt going to be 'spring-Y' enough, I dont care anymore. There is always going to be someone who isnt going to like something. If you love it go for it. Besides, when I think November I thinkof fall colors...and the cps you have are beautiful!

i feel similar to you. im marrying on sept 9th which is 'technically' still summer. but im 99% sure im going to go with a completely fall color pallet. the whole reason i chose september was cause i love the fall pallet. im so much more a jewel tone person than a pastel or bright lol.
anyway point being go with WHATEVER you want. youre lucky cause since you are getting married a week after thanksgiving, you still have the choice of completely fall flowers. or you can go with christmas greens and winter since they are only available after thanksgiving..

My girlfriend is getting married this year after Thanksgiving. She wanted fall colors also and her hall talked her out of it since they will be decorated for Christmas. She ended up going with a light gold color. It looks very pretty with the holiday decorations.

Ladies ladies ladies..... You all are awesome. Your right...this is MY wedding and its going to be how I want it. If these stupid people at work dont like it.......WHO CARES.....All that matters is that I like it. ANd I never should have cared about what they said bc they arent even going to be invited to the wedding!!!!!!!!!
