CP Help..where can I buy.....UPDATED with PICS!

Bamboo stalks?
Rectangular Vases?
Glass beads?
Votive candles?

My e-party is in 2 weeks and at the Sony Store at RF mall I got inspired to do a centerpiece with the items I mentioned above. It will tie in with my green invites and green dress. At the base, I want to put ivory votive candles. Any suggestions on the best places to buy this stuff?

Also, any suggestions if I should mix any flowers in with the bamboo? Or, should I leave it by itself?

I was online for hours looking for CP items like the ones you mentioned...

this website had great products and great prices. Since your party is in 2 weeks you have plenty of time to order online and save some money..I think Michaels is quite expensive and AC Moore doesn't always have the best selction.

I was going to recommend IKEA too...they sell bamboo sticks individually but also in bundles...

OK girls....just wanted to give an update....
I found all of these supplies at Ikea. The bamboo I may either get from a vendor in downtown Flushing or at a 99 cent store that FMIL is going to check out for me. I hope this helps for those looking for similar items

Thanks for the info.....If I f had more time I know I could probably find a better deal in Manhattan. I ended up ordering from a vendor in Flushing...I bargained him down to $3 per stalk for 12' curly bamboo.

I'm not sure...when I was looking for them, they did not have the curly one, which looks nicer IMO. I used a vendor in Flushing...FM me if you want the info.

I found a store in the city where they sell REALLY Cheap vases (high ones too!) and cheap big candles...

i just went to IKEA today in Hicksville

Yes, they have bamboo---both curly stalks and straight stalks and i think they were $2.99/stalk.

Each stalk was about 12 inches tall.

Do they charge tax as well? My vendor in Flushing was $3 a piece, no tax
