Wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to how to make these CPs better..these are the samples our florist prepared.. they're already 3dz black magic roses but my FI and I hate them (way too much green).... Not really thrilled with the florist but the hall requires we use them for the chapel so the flowers get reused as CPs for the reception (in the same building).
We're not really sure of options but we're thinking about adding another dz roses in each to fill them out better. Somehow I dont think its going to make them look much different.
The bottom pic is the original sample they prepared and i had them trim the stems to make them appear closer.. they didnt want to trim the stems but c'mon...
Is there any deep red flower that might work as filler other than roses? Whatever might be used would need to be a dark red to match the roses.
Or are there any florists that could get me a quote for similar (but better) CP's and bouquets and all? Again, the hall only requires we use the house florist for the ceremony (but not the reception, bouquets, etc.). If so, FM me so we can discuss details.
that is much nicer than what our florist put together. do you have any idea of the # of roses in the CP pictured?

Would you consider using fillers (color red of course) to eliminate the use of the greenery?
Our sample CP has 3 dozen roses, 2 dozen lillies, and the rest are fillers...

I'd have to ask FI but at this point i dont think we have a choice but to consider other flowers and/or filler to eliminate the green.

I really like this CP, I think adding another dozen roses would be very pretty. Can you trim the green and add the additional roses?

Your florist can substitute the greenery for fillers - it wouldn't cost you extra.

I don't really know how many flowers are in there. It looks like 2 dozen or 3 at most but you should send FM to suven and ask her. I would have chosen that centerpiece if I were going to do roses. I'm doing Lilacs and Peonies.
I'm having a similar centerpiece - and I have a red color scheme. I reduced some the green and added baby's breath. I gave the arrangement a very soft look that I loved.

Re: CP question / Florist help
i think your best bet is to tell the florist to keep the same size of the arrangement, eliminate as much green as possible, and to add another dozen. i think your cp will look much fuller then!
you could add something like stock as a filler, but i'm not sure if it comes in dark red.

I think u should just do babys breath instead of the greenary...it'll look really pretty.
