Hmmmm...maybe 6-8 weeks before the wedding? I know some brides do it a lot sooner though.

I just saw mine last week. John at Flower Michele told me that any time in April would be good so I made an appointment for last week

I actually had mine done in January. I know I'm a little anal about details and getting things done in advance! ![]()

Oh ok, so they aren't all about doing it like the month before....good to know. Anyone else go already? Have an appointment? How far in advance to you have to ask them to make one up?

i went in january for my sample...They recommended i go during the winter months when its a bit slower for them

They actually just called me a few days ago to set one up. I have to send my mom in my stead. I was pretty impressed that they called me.

I HAD MINES ABOUT 1 MONTH PRIOR,, BUT EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.. IT PROBABLY HAS TO DO WITH THE KIND OF FLOWERS YOU HAVE,, CERTAIN FLOWERS ARE NOT ALWAYS IN SEASON.

I wouldn't recommend waiting for a month before --- I think they put in the final order for the flowers with the nurseries around 2 - 3 weeks before the wedding.
Someone suggested 6 - 8 weeks before, I think that's best ....
You want to leave time, just in case you don't like your 1st sample and want to make changes and see a 2nd sample before they have to finalize the order for the flowers.

They told me end of May/June. So that they'd have the summer flowers I want to incoorporate in my CP's. But I guess you only have to wait if your having seasonal flowers.
