Ok. I know it's late. But I have insomnia this past week. I was cleaning my teeth when I noticed a long crack going down one of my front teeth. WTH is up with that. What do I do? What if it totally breaks b4 the wedding. Arghh!

I work on the side as a dental assistant..it sounds like it may just be a hairline fracture..but I would def. go to the dentist to have he or she check it out. If it is really noticeable to you they could put some bonding over that tooth so that you do not see it in close up pics. good luck......I clench my teeth and i have lumineers across all my front teeth..only prob is when i get stressed and clench constantly I BREAK MY TEETH!..i did it the day i got engaged

I chipped a tooth recently and freaked out because it was so close to the wedding. My dentist was great. She had to put a crown over it but it looks great. I would go to the dentist ASAP because if you do need a crown it takes some time to make them.

Thanks guys. It is a hairline fracture. it goes vertically down my front tooth. I am going to make an appointment cause I have other issues with an old root canal. Not Fun. There goes more $$

i'm having the SAME problem.. my right front tooth had a tiny cavity in it for years, it was never a problem.. well overnight it decided to like grow a lot and now the tip of my tooth is loose. I called fh's dentist to see how much it would be for a cleaning and to possibly have it repaired. cleaning and x-rays= $150 fillings= $200+ because I dont have dental... she suggested doing the discount thing, I had that a few years ago.. I used it once and it wasn't worth it. and even now, I'd pay the $100 for the discount then about $80 for a cleaning and prob about $100 for the filling.. meanwhile I'm going on fh's dental plan the day after the wedding.. so i dont really think its worth it for me.

you could see if the dentist offers 'carecredit' its a interest free credit card for medical/dental.
