There isn't a Michael's or AC Moore in Manhattan anywhere! Does anyone know of a craft store in midtown? I'd like to take a walk over on my lunch break and check out supplies for some of my DIY projects. Thanks!

there's about 2 blocks of just trimming stores in that area....there's also alot of fabric stores ...from what i remember they are somewhere between 34th st and 40th st on the west side, (btw 7th and 9th
Yeah that's where my office is so I pass all of those fabric stores all the time. I'm actually looking to a place more like Michael's or AC Moore where I can buy the supplies to make my card box. I'll just wait until I get home. I did to to M&J Trimming and they have a lot of beautiful Swarovski Crystal things (trimming, broaches, loose crystal) and they even have a small bridal section in the back.
check out Sam Flax on 54th and 3rd... they have tons of random stuff
