CRAP!!!

I just saw my neighbor who came over to tell me how much she liked the invite...she then asked if she should write her name on the response b/c there was no where to put it.

I go upstairs and look and we totally forgot to put a line for the names!

We had issues with our invites when they were being printed......don't you think this is something the person helping us with the invites should have noticed?!!? I feel like such a moron for not noticing!

It has:

'the favour of a response is requested by Setpember 1st.

____ will attend
____regretfully declines
____# of persons.

AND I forgot to number them! I'm so screwed!!! I really hope everyone realizes like my neighbor did!

Don't worry - I'm sure everyone will just write it in. I could totally see myself doing the same thing - it'll be ok!!

I just can't believe that i've had them for so long and spent all that time stuffing the envelopes and totally didn't realize!

Oh well! Can't do anything about it now, right?

oh boy!!! I wish you could tell us what company did your invites because for them, the invitation professionals, not to notice that..... well, there is just no excuse.
Have you called them to let them know that this has somehow slipped through the cracks? Maybe you can get some money back?

Hopefully people will realize that they have to write their names.

we had issues when we first ordered. The person never checked to see if the envelopes came lined with thte same color as the ink we picked. Turns out it didn't and they had to reprint them again.

Now this......it's not even worth it for me to get back into it with them. I've had the invites since last year!

I don't plan to put a line for names on my rsvp cards, but I am leaving a lot of room for guests to write a little something on the card ....

But I will DEFINITELY be numbering my cards, I don't trust my guests that much!

dont worry and try not stress over this! People will figure it out when filling out the RSVP that they need to write in their names!

if it makes you feel any better....we never put the time of our reception on there....only the church!!!

my RSVPs had a line for their names and a few people forget to put their name in there or i couldn't read their writing. luckily i had them numbered. good luck!

I think people will realize that they have to write their names in because we're just so used to doing it. If it turns out that some forget, enlist your BP and your families and start making calls. Maybe you can pay attention to the post office marks that come back - don't they usually mark what town they're mailed from. That may give you a hint...


By the way - this will make you feel better -

Accepts was spelled as Acepts on my RSVP card and I failed to catch it when I proofed it. Seems I was too busy stuffing and adding the bows to notice on the final product. I am mortified but they were already mailed out so what can I do now?
