I was so emotional leading up to that day but so much was going on it was more 'ok lets go lets go' then crying. I was more anxious then anything. And as soon as I saw DH I was TOTALLY fine! Anything could happen and everything could happen and I didn't care. I got teary eyed when my dad started to tear up and I cried a little when I saw my cousin who was in the hospital 2 days before my wedding not sure if she would be there but that's about it.

It's all emotional leading up but the day of, you are more focused on DH then anything else really going on, at least I was. H*e*l*l, I even took a nap at one point while the girls were getting ready LOL!

I won't speak for everyone, but from past posts on this, a lot of brides - myself included - were very emotional leading up to the the big and then barely shed a tear on the actual wedding day!

I was nervous, anxious, agitated, emotional, cried at commercials, the whole nine right before, but when I woke up on the day of, I was just excited! There were two points while I was getting ready that I teared up, and I teared up walking down the aisle, but no sobbing, no full on crying.

I felt an overwhleming sense of happiness! You will not be able to stop SMILING, because the day is finally happening and you're getting married.

I guess I don't have any tips really, but just remember that it's truly a special and happy occassion... take it all in as it comes

This is exactly how I felt. ITA word for word!! I couldnt stop smiling all day/night! and I was soooooo calm!

Definitely exactly this! I had a near cry on the limo ride over while I was holding my dad's hand...the limo driver got a sense of it, made a joke, and I snapped back to happiest girl ever!!!

And trust me, I sob at commercials and get down on the street with random puppies - I'm a sap - so I would have to think its just the overwhelming happiness of your wedding day that takes over!

I got a little choked up during the ceremony but I kept it together (surprising too because I cry over everything!)
