Crashing: Did Duet tell you....

...that they would charge you an extra 100$ to add baby pics and E-pics to your video?

I emailed them yesterday to confirm that the pics would be added and they told me my photo/video package-- the most expensive one btw-- does not include photos and I would have to pay extra!! I am so mad! I am still in the process of trying to get them to waive the $.

Were you told the same thing?



- This is the 2nd time I have had an issue with them: first was when I asked to do a second set of e-pics just because --obvi pay them for it- but they said they cnt fit us in-- plus that we shouldnt do it in the winter bec our faces would come out red so pics wont come out good ...(ye!)-- so I'm booking with Amanda Picone.

they didn't tell me this - i had $$ issues with them as well in the beginning. seems like they like to 'nickel and dime' people for money. i'm still booked with them, but that's an argument i'll wait to have after the wedding i guess.

You have to read the contract, if its not included it will be more $. We negotiated to get it included and engagement pics thrown in to our package

:o(( man i hope they still give it to me & lisa boooooo if they dont

i know --its not in the K (contract)-- i just assumed it was standard and would be included and completely forgot to ask before signing the K.

Yes they did tell us this and we paid it. It was not part of our contract and I didn't even think to discuss at the time when we met with them. If it is not in the contract you have to pay

Everything with Duet needs to be spelled out in your contract when you sign. I haven't had a problem with them but i've heard that they do not budge at all once that contract is signed.

just checked and my contract doesn't have it either. it just says 3 edited DVDs and one raw footage DVD with minitape.

whatever, i'll have that argument when i get there - every vendor i've had so far has given me some kind of 'surprise' so i guess it's no surprise to me that they'd do it too.

yep, I honestly wish I knew! I may have not booked them had I done more research and not rushed into booking them. I find them so impersonal most of the time:o(
