Crate and Barrel Registry

Fiance and i just got back from Crate and Barrel 'Sunday Engagement' Registry. We went to the Manhasset store at 9am and stayed there for nearly 2 hours. I didn't know picking out stuff for the registry was going to be this difficult! We went around the store nearly 5-6 times. Anyway, being our first registry it was a memorable experience. We got to realize that we have very different taste in what we like! Is that a bad thing? Was anyone else there? Anyone planning to go?

My FH and I had big differences in taste, so therefore i only took him to fortunoff and did the rest by myself. how horrible am i??
I am also registered at Crate and Barrel. Love the stuff. But keep checking your registry, their items get discontinued quickly!

I also have a crate and barrel regisrty, but I did mine online. I let FH pick out the steak knives...and that's it!

love Crate & Barrel! they have great stuff! but check your registry as they do discontinue things and we update ours every now and then

isn't it funny the decision making process that goes on when you register? we went through it at C&B and at Fortunoff's. I have to give my FH credit he did pick out our china

ha, it took AGES for fh and I to agree on our everyday dishes. I was totally shocked - I thought it would be one of those girl things, and he'd just agree with whatever I wanted! But he was SOOOO picky...

we have different tastes - we've always known that. It just gets more evident when we're decorating our place together and HE wants everything decorated in BLACK (can you imagine, an entirely black-decorated apartment? ug!), and I want everything in colors... We've sort of agreed to disagree, and divied up the responsibilities.

i was there this morning too!! left with only 14 things on my registry.. .we did a few laps around there... then headed off to Macys and did well there...
