Crate & Barrell

Anyone registered there and if so what is your experience? Do you know what their return policy is?

I really need serving pieces and I'm not crazy about what's at Fortunoff.

Also...how do I get people to know I'm registered at C&B (if I do) since its so late in the game? I already had my shower and STDs had my wedding website which only has fortunoff and honeymoonwishes.com on it.

Any ideas?

Re: Crate & Barrell

I am currently registered with them but am thinking about deleting it b/c there are no stores out here where I live (Eastern Suffolk). I did my registry online and had no problems so far.. not sure about return policy.

I have had a great experience so far...things have arrived at our house rather quickly...some before the RSVPs! When I sent out our invites, I made little cards with all of our registry info. I'll try to fine one, scan it and post later. they are simple, hand-made, but clearly people paid attention b/c we have gotten several gifts already!!! You can return in the box or in the store I'm pretty sure...the packing slip has a pre-printed return label...but i haven't had to return anything.

Re: Crate & Barrell

We just registered this weekend at the one on Houston St. & Bdway. I had a lot of fun. I pretty much filled in what I didn't find at fortunoff or macys. They have alot of great stuff.

P.S. As for getting the word out, word of mouth always works. Mention it to a few people & it will spread.
Good luck

Re: Crate & Barrell

i love crate and barrell.. they dont have one upstate near FI's family - but they all said they will go on-line for my shower.. i also registered at bed bath and beyond..

i think you can return anything.. they never have prices on any of their items - just the scu #.. i think returns are fine..
