Craziness

Has anyone found that their family is even more crazy since you have gotten engaged? Mine has always been crazy...but they have been making me insane lately.

Today my Mom called and suggested we have the engagement party in the driveway (with a tent)and garage if it rains -- rather than tenting the yard. I almost lost it when she told me this. Who would even suggest having the party in the front yard!!??

I'm not really venting...but just looking for someone to agree with me...or disagree if you want. I just personally think this would be the most ridiculous thing ever...unless there was a block party going on...which there isnt!

I knew I should have let them do it at a place. I was trying to save them money...and now wish I thought twice about this!
