am I crazy for being annoyed that my photographer provides proofs on disc which means on top of the 8K I am paying I will have to pay to get all my proofs developed.

No, you're not crazy at all. That stinks! I'm all for digital and whatnot, but there's something about holding a picture in your hand that makes it easier to decide whether you like it or not.

Thats why I chose a photographer that shoots in film. FH wants to buy hi-resolution files of our proofs but it will cost a fortune and I think it is unnecessary. My proofs, when all is said and done, will go in a nice album.

Um...8K and you won't even get the actual proofs?
I'm paying 1.5K and my photographer shoots digital, provding me with ACTUAL proofs and on disk.
