Crazy...

I was just talking to one of my co-workers at my new job and she said her sister had a wedding in North Carolina at a Historical House for $8000!

Why do we live on LI!?!?!

She said that her sister may not have factered in the expense of renting the House. BUt she isn't sure even so that wedding still cost under $15K

Anywhere outside of LI is cheaper. Even my millionaire cousin who had her wedding in Georgetown, Virginia had an AMAZING wedding and it didn't cost nearly as much as the weddings here.

please i lived in north carolina.. i sure wish i lived there now all my friends own houses that look like castles compared to what we are looking at!

unfortunately for us we are both in fitness.. and just wouldnt make a living the same way!

my mom lives in VA on the coast almost in virginia beach.. they bought there 4 br ranch .. in a culd-e-sac 2 1/2 baths.. everything!!! they bought it 4 years ago when things were still 'expensive' for 114,000 .. its sickening

I live in the Philly area and it seems the weddings are just as much and you get less food. New Yorkers REALLY love their food!

i don't envy them at all. it's cheaper but its so boring. FH's sister lives there and everytime we visit we're dying to fly back home.

my sister lives in NC and you could have an aamazing wedding for under 10,000 ... sometimes it really makes me sick that we have to spend all this money ... shouldnt a wedding just be a nice simple celebration of two people in love? haha
