Crazy Card 'box' idea

So, as many of you know I got engaged on a hot air balloon. We aren't planning on having any real theme but I am planning on doing something hot air balloon related for my card 'box'.

Basically, I'm going to do something similar to this picture with a white balloon and the bottom basket will be a much bigger round basket that will have a cover with a slit. When I saw it in the store the balloon was actually upside down (I liked it better).

I'm nuts! but, my very talented aunts are going to help!

how long do balloons stay up? That's my only concern (and getting it there!)

Helium lasts a while!! getting it there may be another story

Helium does NOT last a long time in a latex (rubber) balloon like the one pictured.

It only lasts in the mylar (silver) balloons ...

I would recommend having the florist blow it up for you as close to the time of your reception as possible.
