Creating own wedding album...

Hi ladies,

For those of you that have or are thinking of creating your own wedding albums, how are you going about doing this? Is it possible to create an album like those in the photography studios, heavy pages with digital prints on them?

Thanks for the help!!!!

Re: Creating own wedding album...

its not EXACTLY the same but we think it will be very nice- you can read about the quality on the web page. check out the LEGACY BOOK (looks more wedding like than the smaller classic photo books available- on kodakgallery.com .. let me know what you think because we never made a book like that before so not sure how it will turn out but we emailed them and they have a hassle free return policy-and they talk about the professional binding and leather covers, and the quality acid-free thick pages-but i am not sure how thick they are, really. so we'll see, worse comes to worse, we go back to the photographer and have one made.

my fh is a graphic designer. at first he thought we could work with a printer company that the photographer works with and get a cheaper price on the exact same book we would pay through the studio because the middle man will be cut out but he is having no luck with any printer companies like that.

Thank you ladies for the ideas. I will look into the legacy book. Its hard when you can't touch them yourselves. Keep me posted.

Re: Creating own wedding album...

yeah - when i emailed them i also asked if there was a kodak store that i could view a sample of the book and they said they didnt have one with the books : o/

probably will take the chance though!! the classic book i have and that is nice so i hope the legacy which is supposed to be fancier and bigger and appropriate for weddings so i hope it comes out nice..
