Creative 'guestbook'

What are you all using as 'guestbooks'? I'm looking for something creative and fun rather than the traditional book. Any ideas? P.S.I'm having an autumn wedding. Thanks.

I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but I found this idea at the Michael's website. It's for a memory book, but you can make into a guest book instead.http://www.michaels.com/art/online/projectsheet?pid=e00575 Good Luck!

My friend used a platter. She went to a plaster paris store and got a platter, then had someone paint flowers and their names and date. Everyone signed it, then went back to the store and had it glazed. Its on her coffe table. It was really nice.

SonicStef is using a guest platter as well. If you post the question to her I am sure she can tell you where to buy it. (P.S. I am also having an autumn wedding.)

I really like the platter idea. I was thinking of asking everyone to bring a picture of themselves (prefereably a picture of the guest with my fiance & I) & then have pieces of paper for them to quickly glue it to & sign.

We're going to use Picture Yourself Graphics...

And get a photo of us as a little bride and groom, get it matted and have everyone sign around it. We'll then frame it and hang it up in our house.

my idea

actually Martha's.... I got a guest book...handmade paper from Nepal (or something so that it will stay intact through the years)...I am including an insert into my invites asking guests to bring pictures of themselves with the bride, groom, or both...then there will be acid free glue by the book they can glue the pictures in...if they forgot a picture? Im having a polaroid there as well..

Dreamy.....

My friend only paid $18 for her platter. If you know someone that can paint a nice pic on the platter that would save you a lot of money.

Guestbook

Check out guestures.com They have photoframes with a large mat around the picture that the guests can sign. Actually, I am sure you could make it yourself for cheaper, like Melissa`s idea.
