Crescent Beach Brides!!! (Re-post from BHB )
It's important to know that I booked the Crescent Club based solely on location: I grew up in Oyster Bay (want to get married at St. Dominic's where I went to school for 13 years), and lived in Bayville for a few years. Though FI and I have been to over 20 weddings in our time together, I had never been to one at the Crescent Club - but I booked them anyway.
My friend got married on Friday night and it was spectacular! The food was delicious, the setting was absolutely stunning - and the service was out of this world! FI actually pulled the waiter aside and thanked him for the wonderful service and told him how the night had really cemented our excitement and confidence in our decision - the waiter then had the maitre'd come over and ask us our impressions of the various aspects of the night. It was really special that they took such a special interest in us.
Only regret on our part is that we missed the cocktail hour (which is my favorite) - but FI was driving down from Albany - so we didn't have a choice!
Yesterday the groom came by on their way to the airport, and he was raving about how attentive everyone there was!
I can't wait!! Just had to share!
