CRESCENT BEACH CLUB Brides

I finally finished looking at my halls and I narrowed it down to Tavern on the Green or Crescent Beach Club.

The price is basically the same with maybe a 3K total difference (Tavern being the more expensive). Tavern is giving me Viennese hour and Crescent, obviously doesn't have it. They gave me a price that would literally be as expensive as a city wedding if I include the dessert.

Do I need Viennese at Crescent? What does the Banana Foster Station include? Does anyone have pics of the dessert that is given at Crescent?

Pics would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Honestly, I've heard Tavern on the Green is not worth it for the $$$ it costs. I'm going to a wedding there in a few weeks (? not sure when it is - its FH's friend)...I think the ceremony is at the Mandarin Oriental on 60th and then the reception is at TOTG. I'll let you know how it went....

But I hear that the quality of food isn't what it used to be, and that its $$$ for what you get there....

It depends on whether you want a city wedding or a beach wedding.

I personally love the Crescent, it is beachy but elegant and classy as well.

I am getting the ice cream sundae bar instead of bananas foster and I think it is more than enough for dessert incuding the cake, cookies, etc.

I agree. I've been to a wedding at TOTG, and my prom was held there, and honestly, I was not impressed at all. It's a beautiful venue, and I can understand wanting to have a wedding in NYC (I wish mine could have been here), but IMO I don't think it's worth the $$$. The food was mediocre at best, and the service wasn't so great either.
