Crescent Beach Club Brides

Hi! Getting married 4-30-04 at Crescent & crossing my fingers for a nice day so we can exchange vows on the Beach!
Any advice for the outdoor ceremony?
My FH & I are in conflict about where to put the bar. Any problems having the bar outside the reception room as suggested by Crescent?

I am getting married at CBC on Sunday!!!
We are also hoping for an outdoor ceremony. We are having a beach theme to our wedding. For the ceremony, we bought hurricanes for the unity candle.

I have no idea where the bar is going to be. I go with what they recommend

I went to a wedding there. We loved it. The bar was outside the room and it really was not a big deal. People were on the balcony looking at the beach people were on the dance floor, people on went to the bar quickly. The waiters and waitresses also brought our drinks.


Food was great!

We loved it there. The only things that we did not like was it was rainy when their cermony started. We were outside with umbrellas, they did not even dry off the seats and they did not even set up an alternative inside. They sun wound up shinning later on but it was stop and go with the ceremony and a like chaotic for the guests. I would ask them how far in advance they decide is the ceremony out or in.

I will be crossing my fingers for a beautiful day. Dave Price, my fav weather man, did say Sunday would be nice. Please let me know how it goes. I'm new to this whole wedding planning thing so excuse my inexperience but what are hurricanes to be used during your ceremony?
I'm overly concerned about the bar thing cause being Irish I will have a lot of party people and drinkers at my wedding.
Again good luck on your BIG day - I'm sure it will be amazing as you can't go wrong with a beautiful place like Crescent Beach Club. (Although I am a little biased.)

Hey Kat - Listen, I know a thing or two about big drinkers. ALthough I am not Irish, my soon to be husband is and he is a cop (NYPD) and we have 3 tables of cops coming to the wedding!! :)
The banquet manager wrote NYPD wedding on my contract and that means, LOTS OF DRINKERS!!!
So, I just put my trust in the CBC and hope the drinks flow!!

Huricanes are glass covering to go over the unity candles. If it is outside and windy, you want them not to blow out!!!

I don't really post alot but I will try to post a review when it is all over and please feel free to forum mail me!!!

They wanted the set up to be in the sand?
There is not a lot of room between the hall and the water so maybe it wasn't possible. especially at high tide.

She was just lucky to be outside if you ask me. I am praying that we can be!!

she could have been set up on the sand but they didn't.
